Dr Olukoya on Marriage

Dr Olukoya is the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. I have listened to a few of his teachings online and here are a few things he has to say on marriage;


1. The next worse thing outside of hell fire is a bad marriage.
2. The choice of who you marry determines the course of your life.
3. Marriages are made in Heaven and not on Earth. If you want a good marriage, you need to connect to Heaven.
4. They say that love is blind but marriage opens eyes.
5. A wedding cake is the only cake that can give you indigestion for the rest of your life.
6. It is better for people to laugh at you for marrying late than for you to be unable to laugh after you are married.
7. A marriage can be a holy wedlock or an unholy deadlock.
8. Marriage can be a wedlock or a padlock.
9. To marry for beauty or handsomeness is like buying a house because of the paint. The paint eventually wears off.
10. A successful marriage is always a triangle; the Man, the Woman and God on top.
11. A child of God who marries a child of the devil will have serious problems with the father-in-law; the devil.
12. After the wedding, it is too late for regret.
13. A good wife or a good husband is God smiling down at you from Heaven.
14. Many so called engagements are actually ''encagements''.


I agree with everything he has said. Some of it is funny but also quite true. Let me know what you think; what are your thoughts?
